An update, of sorts

I feel like I'm mostly writing this update to justify the blog's existence, but whatever. I've raised about 1/3 of the money I need for France already, so THANK YOU to my supporters! You have blessed me more than you know. I should be buying plane tickets sometime in the next week, which will make this seem more "real" than ever!

Well, I'm on the bandwagon, I guess. I've officially started a blog (obviously). This is mostly for me to post updates on my life while I'm in France this summer, and I don't expect to use it a whole lot until then, but who knows? In any case, thanks for taking the time to check it out.

On the title of my blog - it's inspired by the song Daylight by Brave Saint Saturn. You can hear the song here; the video doesn't add much, but it shows the lyrics, so that's pretty cool I guess. Anyway... it's a great song and you should check it out.
